JFK T8's "A Traveling Dream: Reverie" - Jedidiah Dore

Jedidiah Dore is an artist and part-time faculty member at Parsons New School in NYC. A resident of Queens, NY, he specializes in reportage art, mural painting, and drawing. Dore was recently commissioned to paint a large-scale NYC Murals Project at the landmark Daily News Building in Manhattan, featuring 17 murals, six of which are 30 feet long. He recently created art for an exhibition with NASA's James Webb Space Telescope, documented the Artemis 1 Mission Launch at Kennedy Space Center, and exhibited paintings at the Louisiana Art & Science Museum.

Dore studied painting and illustration at Pratt Institute. Inspired by his love for science and aviation, he began the ongoing Stellar Science Series. The project has taken him to places such as the Mars Yard for the Curiosity Rover, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Deep Space Network, Johnson Space Center, Kennedy Space Center, and NASA Marshall Space Flight Center. He has created art for Jacob Technologies and exhibited his work at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center.

Jedidiah and his work have been featured in various publications and books, including Voyage Houston, British GQ, PBS, Pen and Ink, Reportage Drawing: Visual Journalism (Bloomsbury, 2018), Stellar, and NYCS Over, Under, Through.
