JFK T8’s “A Traveling Dream” – William Bentley

Meet New York based artist William Bentley of the JFK T8 Artist Showcase.

Growing up in New York’s The Bronx, William Bentley has dreamed of being an artist since he was a young child. During those formative years, Bentley received words of wisdom from a teacher that would carry him through life: “Your mind is a warehouse of knowledge.”

Bentley is the Co-Founder of Vaughn Bentley Creative, a Queens-based firm with a mission to uplift artist’s voices in the local New York community. As an artist, Bentley has specialized in graphic design, illustration, painting, portraiture, murals, and set design.

“I look forward to taking my love of art to new heights by creating works that will inspire the community, and the people of the world to greatness,” said Bentley about his art.

Bentley's work is part of “A Traveling Dream” T8 Artist Showcase presented by URW, American Airlines, The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. In curation with Vaughn Bentley Creative, four local New York artists were chosen for the first installment of the artist showcase—highlighting local artistic expressions of what it means to be a New Yorker.
