Request for Proposals: Professional Services

JFK T8 Innovation Partners, a joint venture led by Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) Airports is initiating a competitive bidding process and requesting proposals for janitorial, pest control and loading dock operations for Terminal 8 at John F. Kennedy International Airport.

URW is looking for experienced respondents with staff, internal/external controls, federal certifications (if applicable) and other resources necessary to provide first class services within an airport.   Each RFP package is designed to determine the most qualified operator(s). The process will focus on two critical aspects:

  • Economics – Overall Pricing and Labor, and

  • Creative scope and savings recommendations.

A. Janitorial and porting services will cover trash hauling from individual concession spaces and upkeep of landside waste receptacles.

B. Loading dock and search operations will require the oversight and management of all vendor deliveries to the Terminal 8 loading dock. Deliveries must be searched for prohibited items prior to its entry to the terminal. Search protocols are dictated by TSA rules and regulations.

C. Routine pest control services are only for the URW managed loading dock, concessions, and storage spaces within the terminal.

Areas the Request for Proposals will include:

  • Terminal 8 Post-Security Concessionaire Spaces in both Concourse B and C

  • Terminal 8 Ticketing Level Concessionaire Spaces

  • Terminal 8 Arrivals Level Concessionaire Spaces

  • Terminal 8 Loading Dock

A mandatory virtual pre-bid meeting will be held on November 1, 2024, at 10 a.m. EST. The RFP will only be released to those companies represented at the pre-bid meeting. To register for the pre-bid meeting click here.
